    Advertisement Tax – Display Regulations

    Advertisement tax is a levy collected by the local body from advertisers or agencies for displaying any form of advertisement within municipal boundaries. This includes hoardings, wall paintings, balloons, slides, etc. The Revenue Department of the Nagar Panchayat oversees the administration and collection of advertisement tax.

    Advertisement Tax Process

    • Collection of registration fees before issuing advertisement permits
    • Collection of renewal fees for permit extension
    • Issuance of advertisement display licenses
    • Regular collection of advertisement taxes from agencies
    • Charging permission fees if municipal land is used for display
    • Leasing hoarding spaces for public or private advertising use
